                                                                     Post Care

  • For the first hour or so after your brow tattoo you will blot your brows gently every 10 minutes with a clean tissue to remove excess lymphatic fluid (this is just like the clear fluid that you see pre scab on a wound).  We do not want this left there as we are avoiding scabbing.  I will demonstrate this at the appointment.  It is important you never rub your brows, gently blot always.

  • Once you have blotted the final time you can apply a small amount of aftercare ointment to the brow area with a clean cotton tip.  This will be provided in your after-care pack.

  • Daily each morning and night for 10 days you will clean your brow area gently with the supplied cleanser.  You will gently pat to clean not rub to ensure your brows are kept clean, then gently pat dry with a clean tissue before applying a small amount of aftercare ointment to the area with a clean cotton tip or freshly washed hands.

  • Strictly avoid heavy sweating, swimming, saunas and over saturation of water on your brows.

  • you are only wetting your brows when cleansing.

  • when washing your hair, place your head back under the faucet to rinse, if a small amount of water runs down your brows, don't stress just pat dry when done.  You just want to avoid any over saturation of water for 10 days.

  • Absolutely no makeup, sunscreen or other creams/cleansers to the brow area.  Think of it like a wound, keep it clean to avoid infection and poor healed results.

  • No direct sun (sun fades the pigment) so please ensure a wide brimmed hat when outdoors.

  • Long term (once healed after a good few weeks) applying sunscreen and avoiding active ingredients, facial treatments to the tattoo will assist with colour retention over time.
